Meet Liam

Liam believes that it takes both vision and experience to build a movement. He knows that when Young Liberals dream big and work hard, we have the power to make a difference for our party, our country, and the planet.

Since signing up as a Liberal Party member at the age of 12, he’s volunteered ever since for Liberal candidates, and his passion for youth activism in the Liberal Party of Canada has only grown. In 2016, Liam joined his local youth council and was elected as Youth Director to his local EDA in 2018 and has since volunteered on multiple campaigns in BC, Quebec, and Ontario.

Liam’s passion for Liberal Campus Clubs began during his time McGill, where he served as his campus’, VP Policy, then VP Operations, before becoming Club President prior to the 2021 election. His most recent Young Liberal position was as Vice-Chair French to a provincial executive. Liam has worked for three Liberal Members of Parliament, and currently works as a Regional Advisor to Minister Steven Guilbeault.

Liam’s Granny has a saying: “There are three ways to make a difference people’s lives: the classroom, the hospital, or the government”. A proud son of immigrants, Liam knows the value of all three. He is a Liberal because he believes that policies like Universal Healthcare, Multiculturalism, Official Bilingualism, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Carbon Pricing, and Young Liberal Policies like the legalization of cannabis and gay marriage, are what make Canada great. 

Liam knows that the Young Liberals must be a pragmatic movement that empowers youth and drives the Liberal Party win elections and advance progress. He believes that when Liberals are empowered to deliver change for all Canadians, we are at our best.
