Liam Olsen for National Chair

Liam believes that it takes both vision and experience to build a movement. He knows that when Young Liberals dream big and work hard, we have the power to make a difference for our party, our country, and the planet.

He serves as a Director with his local Federal Liberal Association and has been a campus club president, served as Vice-Chair (French) on a provincial executive, and has volunteered on countless campaigns in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec.

Liam knows that the spirit of the Young Liberals is that of progressive pragmatism. It is a movement that must empower youth and drive the Liberal Party to win elections and support our elected officials advance youth-driven policy. Liberals are at their best when the party listens to and empowers young people. A thriving YLC is a thriving Liberal movement, where we we are strong, we win and we deliver real change for Canada.

Madison Lalonde for National Vice-Chair (English)

Madison is seeking election as YLC’s Vice Chair (English). She is currently completing an Undergraduate Degree in Political Science and Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. Madison has volunteered with Marc Miller’s 2015 and 2019 campaigns, and MP Brenda Shanahan’s 2021 campaign. In 2021, she was elected as Vice Chair (English) for the Young Liberals of Canada (Quebec), working with and representing English-speaking Young Liberals and campus clubs across the province. She also serves as Interim Section Chair of the Young Liberals of Canada (Quebec), and collaborates with Young Liberals from across Quebec.

Laurent Ruffo-Caracchini for National Vice-Chair (French)

Quebecois by birth, and Franco-Ontarian by adoption, Laurent completed his bachelor's degree in economics at Western University and is now studying at McGill’s Faculty of Law. Passionate about policies and language politics, he is a passionate volunteer and past campus president. He is now  seeking a second term as Vice-chair French of the Young Liberals! Javin Ames-Sinclair for National Policy Chair

Javin Ames-Sinclair joined the Liberal Party of Canada at age 13 and most recently served as YLC-S Chair from 2017-2022. A Psychology and Justice Graduate of the University of Regina, Javin has committed himself to uplifting and advocating for youth voices and policy. He is proud to be Indigenous from Treaty 4 territory and embraces his unique identity to work to ensure the Liberal party reflects youth and QTBIPOC voices within both organizational structure and platform.

Molly Wilkins for National Membership Chair

Molly is excited to be running as the Membership Chair for the Young Liberals of Canada. She have been a volunteer for the Liberal Party of Canada since 2019, where she first started in her home riding of London West. From there, she joined the McMaster Young Liberals, at McMaster University- first becoming finance office and then President. In 2020, she was acclaimed as the Women's Representative on the YLC, and have been an active volunteer and staff member in both the Federal and Provincial elections. Molly believes getting more young people involved in politics is crucial to our success as a party, and as a country.

Raj Gill for National Organization Chair

Raj has been involved with the Liberal Party of Canada for the past four years. He is currently the National Policy Chair for the Young Liberals of Canada (YLC) and previously served as the Policy Chair for the Ontario-section of the YLC. Guided by the power of grassroots politics, he is committed to making YLC a welcoming and supportive organization. 

Elliott Grondin for National Communications Chair

As someone whose family has been involved with the LPC for almost a century, politics is a natural part of Elliott’s life and this defines his progressive vision of Canada.

In 2015, he became involved with Team Trudeau, and after 8 years of volunteering with the LPC, he became Membership Chair of the YLCQ, and then Communications Chair of the YLC, the role he is now seeking re-election in.

Now, a undergraduate at McGill University, Elliott will keep fighting for the LGBTQ2+ community, linguistic rights, and the environment.

Sadie Cann for Recording Officer

A proud Liberal since 2016, Sadie has had the honour of serving the party in numerous capacities including as a director-at-large on the Niagara Centre Federal Liberal Association, youth representative for the Hamilton Region Women’s Liberal Association and as Co-President of the McMaster Young Liberals. Sadie is excited to work with Young Liberals across the country to advocate for good, progressive policy focused on combatting climate change and transitioning our economy away from fossil fuels. 

Logan Kliewer for National Finance Chair

Logan Kliewer is running for Finance Chair of the Young Liberals of Canada and believes strongly that more YLC funds need to reach clubs to ensure to support their work. 

Within his first year as Chair of the Young Liberals of Canada (Manitoba), Logan re-registered all campus clubs, and started new clubs that are now active chapters of the YLC.

Angelica Voutsinas for Women's Representative of the Young Liberals (NWLC & YLC)

Angelica (she/her) is a third-year student at McGill, studying Political Science and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. Currently, Angelica serves as the President of Liberal McGill, where she mobilizes a large general membership to participate in LPC and YLC initiatives, and encourages insightful policy discussions with Liberal McGillians and various Liberal Ministers and MPs. She has worked on numerous campaigns, and was an active and founding member of the Toronto--Danforth Federal Young Liberals. Angelica hopes to serve as the Women's Representative of the Young Liberals to elevate the participation of young women within the Liberal Party of Canada

Jordan Derochie for Indigenous and Youth Representative (IPC & YLC)

Jordan Derochie has been the Indigenous Youth Representative for two terms. Being a community leader and longtime Liberal volunteer serving in numerous different capacities, Jordan brings invaluable experience to the team while supporting the engagement of Indigenous youth within the party. Additionally, Jordan is well-versed in recruitment and retention, along with governance and operations. Jordan is proud to be running again for the Indigenous Youth Representative role.
